Since the implementation of the School Restaurant and the adoption of specialized equipment, the hiring of a professional chef and the training of the two kitchen assistants, we offer a great food service for our school community.
The following menus are designed to achieve the balance of nutrient adequacy of the 24-hour diet, taking into account the energy recommendation (number of calories) and the appropriate ratio thus:
- 50-60% coming from carbohydrates
- 25-35% coming from fats
- 10-15% coming from proteins
The established minutes are providing approximately 60% of the students’ requirements, considering that the remaining 40% will be provided at home for breakfast and dinner. Adequate food planning contributes to the good health and school performance of the students.
