Angel, the great gray wolf.
In 2018, we had María Catalina Hernández Gutiérrez, a faithful example of the Angelista profile who dreamed with the idea of representing the values and attributes of the student through a mascot, which she molded and then sculpted in plasticine. That animated and endearing wolf was the neonate that responded well to those Angelist qualities.
In the year 2021, the idea was taken up again, holding a contest via social networks where students chose their reflection from among several candidates. The answer was obvious, it had to be him. The wolf had grown up and was ready to play his role in our community.
And so it was that since May 22, 2022, ANGEL accompanies us, reflecting the essence of the student, the teacher, the worker, the father, the Angelista graduate.
But why a gray wolf?
The wolf is associated with several virtues such as: being bold, loyal, supportive, generous, intelligent and very communicative, hence when it is seen, it is said that the spiritual meaning of this encounter is related to the fact that the person who sees it needs a guide at that moment of his life, and the wolf of course is one. Here the characteristics of our managers and teachers are reflected.
The wolf is a symbol of creativity and eloquence, meaning that those who feel identified with him are very good at communicating and are even very creative. This is a quality developed by students and graduates who permanently fill us with Angel Pride.
Also those who identify with Angel, our great gray wolf, are very self-confident, and know how to solve difficult situations, hence they provide emotional stability and are strong figures who always earn the respect of others, so it is also considered as a family animal. Our fathers and mothers, are here more than identified!
Angel, our wolf is characterized by his great intelligence, he is an animal capable of adapting to changes and continuing with his plans, faithful to his principles and goals, hence for some he represents understanding and faith. The attributes of all our Angelist community!
The meaning of the wolf is also related to wisdom; he who identifies with him, always knows how to guide himself in life with confidence and faith in his being, which helps him to take the right decisions.
